Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said that the modified ECQ will allow the public to stroll, jog and bike outside their homes. However, he reminded the public this Thursday to continue observing physical distancing while out in public.

Basta wala pong kumpol-kumpulan. Iyong mga mag-asawa po, kinakailangan maghiwalay kayo ‘pag naglalakad. Temporary hiwalay muna iyong mga boyfriend… Wala munang holding hands habang naglalakad po,” he told DZMM.

[Just don’t clump together. Husbands and wives should keep their distance while walking. Couples should stay apart. Don’t hold hands while walking for now.]

Non-contact sports such as tennis, golf, and badminton will also be permitted. Covered gymnasiums will be allowed to open but fitness gyms will not.
