Today, Pope Francis has reportedly donated 30 respirators to hospitals in areas hardest hit by the coronavirus pandemic. As of writing, Italy is the third most affected country by COVID-19 with above 80,000 cases after China (85k +) and the US (81k +). Its death toll is at 8,000+ while the number of recovered patients is at 10,000+.
