Marikina Mayor Marcy Teodoro seeks for quicker approval of the city’s Molecular Laboratory from the Department of Health (DOH). This is so they can already do COVID-19 testing.

“Desperate times call for extraordinary measures,” giit ng punong lungsod.

“DOH should not treat Marikina as a client applying for a license to operate a laboratory like this, kundi it should be a partnership. This is a whole of government approach kung saan nagtutulong-tulong ang lokal at national.

“We should make this test kits commercially available for all.

“Rizal, nearby cities, puwede. We are targeting 3-4 additional cities na magbebenefit dito sa Marikina Testing Center.”

“I am so grateful kay Mayor Marcy na shared facility ang gusto niyang mangyari sa testing center ng Marikina,” saad ni Dr. Imelda Mateo ng Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center.
