The Elementary School team, comprised of Enrique Alonso M. Pioquinto and Gian Nicolas Q. Casimiro, was awarded the first Virtual World Skills Champion in the VEX IQ Challenge (VIQC) Elementary School (ES) Division.

On the other hand, the Middle School team, comprised of Bianca Nicole Q. Casimiro and Jose Antonio S. Hernandez, joined the VEX IQ Challenge Middle School (MS) Division. They placed 6th out of 4,600+ teams in the Top Global Skills Teams standings. With this, they were qualified to represent the Philippines in the VEX Robotics World Championship 2020 in Louisville, Kentucky, USA.

This is also the Philippines’ first win since 2007, during the Vex Robotics World Championship’s inaugural season. It is also the largest robotics competition in the world as recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.
