In a post made on March 20, 2020 at around 1 PM, Vice President Leni Robredo applauded an “unassuming man” who came by the office to make a very generous donation. Florante Sunga Jr. then proceeded to open the boxes, revealing all sorts of equipment very much needed by healthcare workers and frontliners like N95 masks, goggles, and suits.

VP Leni was overjoyed at seeing the donations, what with her efforts to donate as much as she could to frontliners and those combatting COVID-19.

“When he opened the boxes, lo and behold, they were filled with N95 masks, suits and goggles- the most sought-after commodities needed by our frontliners right now!!!

Thank you very much, Florante Sunga, Jr. and LSG Industrial and Office Products, Inc.. Hulog ka ng langit!! It was great meeting you, Sir,” she wrote.

Apparently Sunga’s wife had called earlier on to inform them of the donation but they first thought it was a prank given all that was happening and how hard masks were to find.

More power to you, Mr. Sugue!
