If you’re feeling a bit adventurous in terms of eating out, why not invite your loved ones to Northshore Grill, a Filipino restaurant that has just recently opened in the heart of Makati City. Northshore Grill is a spin-off of Blackbeard’s Seafood Island, which has already established multiple branches over the country. The first of its kind, Northshore Grill sets itself apart with its surf camp-inspired concept and interiors—which is inspired from an actual surf camp b.t.w.—and its different menu and food options. Check out their mouthwatering dishes below!

One of the most traditional Filipino ways of eating is through a boodle fight, and what better way to do it than through kamayan or eating food with your bare hands. Northshore Grill’s most recommended boodle feast is the Taal Boodle (Php 1,850.00) which is already good for 5-7 persons! The Taal Boodle comes with plain rice, kalkag rice, bulalo, lechon kawali, grilled tilapia, sauteed tahong or mussels, and so much more. If you’re looking for an ultimate feast that is enough for your entire barkada, this is definitely a must-try! If you think that this is way too much food for your group, don’t worry because the restaurant also offers boodle feasts good for 3-4, 5-6, and 5-7 persons, with prices starting from as low as Php 999.00 only! Sulit!

If you’re a smaller group and you’re not in the mood to lamon, Northshore Grill also offers other Filipino food options. Almost every Filipino loves a good inihaw dish, and there are some pretty solid options you can find here! Their Inihaw na Liempo at Binusog na Pusit (Php 659.00) and Grilled Tuna Panga (Php 389.00) are my personal favorites. Both the meat and the seafood are charcoal-grilled to perfection and taste really fresh and well-cooked.

If you’re a fan of seafood, you’ll be sure to enjoy these dishes as well. Be sure to order the Seafood Pansit Espesyal (Php 395.00), which is a sweet and savory pansit dish and has a load of fresh seafood like shrimps, clams, mussels, and squid. If you’re a feeling a bit classy and fancy-shmancy, you can also opt to go for their version of the Oyster Rockefeller (Php 449.00), which is your fresh catch of oysters, that luckily, doesn’t have that malansa taste, topped with baked cheesy goodness. Also, don’t miss out on the Calamares Fritos (Php 299.00) which are really soft and crispy, and are also perfect as pulutan!

Speaking of pulutan, Northshore Grill also has its own mini-bar—Sunset Bar by Seafood Island! If you just wanna chill and unwind after a long, tiring day of work with your friends, officemates or colleagues, Northshore Grill is also a perfect place for your chillnumans or late night drinks. You can get in-house drink towers, shooters, and cocktails—like the tequila sunset, weng weng, and long island iced tea—all starting from Php 129.00. You can also get bottled beers and shots of your favorite rum, gin, whiskey, or tequila in their mini-bar. Best part is, there will be live music Mondays to Saturdays from 8pm onwards!

End your Northshore Grill experience with dessert, because after all, there’s always going to be room for dessert. Treat yourself to a glass of Ube Sago con Hielo (Php 125.00), which is not only really refreshing and perfect for the sunny weather, it also satisfies your deepest desire for sweets!
