We are all familiar with Station 1, 2 and 3 of Boracay; but have you heard of Station X?

Station X is located at the property of Hue Hotels and Resorts, and is the newest destination for foodies in Boracay. The place boasts of well-curated restaurants that offer different cuisines for those who are craving for great food at reasonable prices. The great thing about Station X is how the restaurants are set up. Since they are inside the vicinity of Hue, the design of the dining area is perfect for young and hip millennials.

The restaurant is owned by newlywed couple Patrick and Shria Florencio, and offers healthy, delicious and sustainable food items that won’t break the bank. They promote local and ethically sourced raw materials to make their dishes unique and unforgettable. The restaurant prides themselves in partnering with farmers to help their livelihood and support their respective communities.

Must-tries on the menu: Smoothie Bowls, Fish and Prawn Curry, Sticky Pork Ribs and Bistek Tagalog.

Your island experience won’t be complete without seafood. Well, Station X happens to have one of the best seafood restaurants on the island. Percy’s Seafood Cioppino offers fresh seafood, whether you like it raw, crispy or grilled. Their bestsellers are the Fresh Aklan Oysters, so don’t forget to order a plate! Most of their food is good for sharing and can be perfectly paired with a bottle of beer.

Another crowd favorite at Station X is Fat Rice. The restaurant offers Southeast Asian Cuisine, whether you are craving for Thai, Singaporean or Vietnamese. During Boracay’s rehabilitation, Fat Rice was one of the restaurants that transferred to Century City Mall’s Hole in the Wall and developed a loyal following due to the serving size and taste of their dishes.

Mexican food is put under the spotlight at Santa Peligrosa. If you want tacos, this is the right place. The restaurant offers quick grub and plate meals to satisfy your hunger for lunch and dinner, or even while drinking. Their tortillas are proudly handmade and you can choose the fillings that you want. Though the trio of tacos comes in threes, you might want to order a little bit more. You might not want to share this tasty dish!

One of our favorites (which transferred to Manila during the Boracay closure), Poketo, is a place that you will always come back to. They offer Japanese yakitori that will surely satisfy your hunger. A set comes with three sticks, a poached egg, garnish, and rice. You can also order them per stick and choose from their selection of yaki sticks – from quail eggs to chicken skin to beef.

There’s always room for dessert and with the scorching heat, Sugar Cloud is just what you need. They offer huge servings of fruity and icy desserts that are perfect to share with your friends and family. The watermelon bingsu is perfect to beat the heat and to leave you refreshed and recharged to hit the beach again.

One of the most Instragrammable desserts on the island, Coco Mama, has been a staple for people who visit Station X. Their tasty coconut ice cream cannot be compared and is the perfect ending to any meal. They pride themselves on being lactose-free and vegan-friendly, and for having a low glycemic index.

The Boracay experience will not be complete without a bowl of @cocomamaboracay. If D mall has a long line, check out @stationxboracay. There’s shorter lines.

Last but definitely not least is Prisma. Hue’s in-house bar offers specialty cocktails and alcohol that will definitely tickle your senses. During our visit, we tried different cocktails with unique flavors. They can customize drinks for you and you can also choose from a wide array of cocktails that are refreshing with a kick. We personally love the Frosé and their sangria. They open as early as 9AM and you can avail of their happy hour prices from 11AM to 6PM where the drinks start at Php55.
