We started our meals by choosing the knives for the steak that they would be serving. Each knife is carefully picked to make sure that your dining experience is up to par to with the steak’s quality.

The steak we had was an aged, prime USDA Angus Beef Rib Eye seasoned with sea salt and crushed black peppercorns. The simple seasoning ensures that the dish champions the steak quality instead of relying on its sauce or marinade.

We also made sure that our steak was cooked medium-rare, so that we could see and taste the difference of their steak compared to other steaks we have had in Manila. I must say that the steak will definitely melt in your mouth; it is so flavorful!

Their pasta dish called Spaghetti Nero goes perfectly well with the rib eye steak.

Spaghetti Nero is basically squid ink pasta with selva shrimps, chilean mussels and house-made ricotta. One special thing about Osteria Forno is that the pasta is made fresh in-house everyday with the best flour and free range eggs. If you are looking for a healthier alternative, you can also request for gluten free pasta instead.

If you need another dish to fill your cravings, you can get a brick oven pizza that is hand stretched and made on site daily. There is a gluten-free option for this, as well.

The Carni Pizza is made with homemade tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, homemade Italian sausages, double smoked bacon, pepperoni, meatballs, homemade ricotta, and parmesan.
