The Story So Far 5 - The Story So Far’s Manila Concert Was Every Scene Kid’s Dream

As a former scene kid and avid listener of punk back in high school, I used to attend rock concerts all the time. Imagine a petite, five foot tall, 15-year-old girl in the middle of a mosh pit. Yeah, I sustained a lot of concert-related injuries back in the day. Now that I’m no longer in that scene, seeing people headbanging, crowd surfing, moshing, and just having the absolute time of their lives brought back a lot of memories. There’s a certain thrill that comes with getting kicked in the face by crowd surfers.

I was also happy to witness people living in the moment instead of a sea of phones recording every single second, which has become the norm lately at concerts.

Nearing the end of the show, lead singer Parker Cannon expressed his gratitude to fans for supporting them throughout all these years.

I know you’ve been waiting for a while. Thank you for being so patient. We finally made it. I’m just so happy to be alive.
