DANCE SUPREMACY (DS) now in its 3rd year, is the first International Urban Dance Competition that is held and hosted in the Philippines. In addition to its existing categories which includes the Small Crew & Big Crew Open Division, this year, a new series is launched – the Dance Supremacy Kings & Queens – The Inter-School Division. This competition will particularly be open to bonafide High School and College Students. Kings Division will be for the all-male category while the Queens Division will be the all-female category.

Dance Supremacy Kings & Queens High School & College Eliminations will be held on September 28 and October 5 respectively at Tanghalang Pasigueno. Grand Finals will be held on October 20 at the AFP Theater. The winners of each category will be taking home Php100,000.

The following 35 schools will be represented for the High School Division: Alabat National High School, Assumption Antipolo, Assumption College San Lorenzo, Ateneo de Manila Junior High School, Brainshire Science School, Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Colegio de Sta. Rosa Makati, De La Salle University Laguna, Don Bosco School, Don Bosco Technological College, Far Eastern University Alabang, Holy Family School of Quezon City, Immaculate Conception Academy, La Salle College Antipolo, La Salle Greenhills, Marist School Marikina, Miriam College, Olivares College, San Beda College Alabang, San Beda University Manila, School of St. Anthony, Signal Village National High School, St. Louis College of VAlenzuela, St. Paul College Makati, St. Paul College Pasig, St. Rose of Lima School Las Pinas, St. Scholastica’s Academy, St. Scholastica’s College, Sumulong Memorial High School, Tandang Sora Integrated School, University of the East Manila, and Xavier School.

The following 19 Colleges and Universities will be competing for the College Division: Asia Pacific College, Ateneo de Manila University, Cavite State University, Far Eastern Univeristy, FEU Institute of Technology, MAriners Polytechnic Colleges Foundation, Olivares College, Our Lady of Fatima University Antipolo, Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, San Beda University, Technoligical Institute of the Philippines Manila, Technological University of the Philippines Taguig, Technological University of the Philippines Quezon City, University of the East Caloocan, University of the Philippines Diliman, University of the Philippines Los Banos, and University of the Philippines Manila.

On top of the competition, Dance Supremacy also conducts a special awarding segment to recognize carefully selected dancers and choreographers who have made an impact and contribution in the local dance industry.
