The topics for the event are centered around the field of transportation engineering. In a country where advanced transportation technology and methods are becoming more prevalent, professionals and future professionals are called to reappraise their knowledge on the concepts of transportation engineering so that they can better use these technologies and methods in improving the modes, facilities, and structures of transportation in the Philippines. This year’s event is comprised of four (4) themed sessions:

  • Developments in Philippine Transportation – The ongoing projects regarding transportation systems in the Philippines
  • Urban Planning in Philippine Transport – The urban planning aspect of transportation systems
  • Technology in Philippine Transport and Traffic Management – Technology in Philippine transportation and traffic management such as real-time traffic signals and no-contact apprehension for violators of traffic rules
  • Emerging Means of Transport in the Philippines – The alternatives to the already-known means of transport we have now (i.e. Hybrid train, bike lanes, modernized PUVs)
